Snapshot
1. Pilgrimage trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
2. We will also participate in Help One Now activities (i.e. gathering profile information, taking pictures, etc).
- Confirm team by March 1st.
- Purchase airfare by April 1st.
3. We will spend 2-3 days building a home for a local family. We will raise these funds before we go to Haiti. Also, these funds will create jobs in Haiti as Haitians do roughly 90% of the work!
4. We will spend 3-4 days doing general medical work. We need Doctors, PA’s, Nurses, Dentists and Optometrists.
5. On most trips, we will bring a writer/blogger & photographer, so when we return, we can share the story of Haiti with our friends, family, and churches.
We will spend the majority of our time in two communities, Port au Prince and Kenscoff. The ultimate goal is to learn more about the orphan crisis in Haiti and how we can be used to help bring hope and renewal.
We will also spend time in the largest tent city in Haiti.
We will meet and learn from local Haitians’ leaders and other Non Profit Organizations. These will be intense times of prayer, discussion and team-building!

**This trip cost is based on an average airfare of $800 per person. If airfare costs are significantly higher, then the trip cost will increase. Also, every trip cost includes $500 that goes directly back to HELP’s key projects in Haiti. We realize that these trips give our teams opportunities to serve our friends in Haiti, but HELP also desires to empower local Haitians and provide them with much-needed job opportunities. So these funds will go back to development work and employment for local Haitians.
