HELP one Sunday
The purpose of Help One Sunday is to advocate for the poor on a global level. In dealing with extreme poverty and the global orphan crisis, we believe that the local church is where the solution should begin. Our vision is to communicate that truth with a compelling message called “Gospel Justice.”
Message: Gospel Justice
Our passion is to help the church see the orphan crisis through the lens of theology and the biblical narrative of Scripture as we tell our personal stories. Our desire is not to bring guilt or shame but rather to share God’s love for the poor. We want to allow the church to see that love is rooted in Scripture and that God requires action on our part. This message is roughly 35 minutes long.
Cost: Zero
We want to be a blessing to the local church; therefore, HELP does not charge a fee. Of course, we do take honorariums and/or love offerings. Our goal is to advocate for the orphan and we don’t want money to stand in the way.
We do, however, ask permission to set up a merchandise table. This is where we will sell t-shirts and give people opportunities to sponsor kids. (www.helponenow.com)
